Our Mission
At Hey Party, we believe in enriching the world through joy and celebration. Our mission is to create products and experiences that are not only beautiful and creative, but also enrich the lives of our customers.
From the initial party decorations to our latest balloon installations and themed party sets, we strive to create moments to remember.
From Frustration to Fulfillment
Welcome to Hey Party! We are Katharina and Vicky, two sisters with a great passion for unforgettable parties. We have been organizing in Ulm since 2017 (and throughout southern Germany) with our event agency "Kassiopeia - Parties for little guests" children's birthdays and private celebrations , and we were always faced with the same problem: The decorations that we found on the big online portals just didn't convince us. And we had to order from several shops until we had everything we needed.
What frustrated us?
The quality of the products was often disappointing - they looked cheap and didn't do what they promised. Often they were counterfeits from well-known manufacturers, but it quickly became clear why they were so "cheap": balloons burst, decorations were bent and barely lasted the party. Not to mention the sometimes pungent smell 🤢 (now we know that it really was pollutants that smelled like that!) The selection was huge, but completely confusing , so we searched for hours without finding exactly what we needed. And when we had questions or needed support, there was simply no one who could help us . No personal service, no advice - just anonymous purchasing processes that caused us more stress than joy.
These frustrations led us to a decision:
We wanted to do better .
This is how Hey Party was born - our own shop that offers exactly what we were missing from the big platforms: high-quality, non-toxic, carefully selected products that make celebrating a joyful experience, and a personal service that really comes from the heart 🧡 . And everything should be affordable too. But that was a dream that couldn't be realized in the time it took for a two-woman operation in the thriving event business.
2020 - the opportunity
Then came 2020 and with it the corona pandemic . From one day to the next, we were faced with the challenge of no longer being allowed to hold parties. What was a hard blow for many (for us too - very much so!), we gradually saw as a new opportunity . Instead of burying our heads in the sand, we decided to use the involuntary free time to turn our long-held dream into reality. Hey Party finally took shape.
In addition to our online shop, we also opened a store in Ulm Jungingen in January 2023. Here we offer you not only beautiful party decorations, but also individual services : personalized balloons, stunning balloon garlands and creative balloon bouquets that will make your celebration unforgettable.
Our vision?
We want to become the number one in Germany for creative party decorations. The positive feedback from our customers shows us every day that we are on the right track.
